Columbian TecTank (CTT) manufactures the highest quality storage tanks in two North American facilities. Bolted tanks are designed and manufactured at our tank manufacturing facility in our Parson, Kansas, and our shop-welded storage tanks are made in our Winchester, Tennessee, facility. Both tank manufacturing plants operate under stringent ISO 9001 quality systems that are certified by independent consultants each year. We have more than 250,000 square feet of manufacturing space in these two facilities.
At CTT, our professional engineers (PEs) and design resources combined have hundreds of years of experience in designing bolted steel tanks for thousands of different applications. We invented the unique API 12B approved chime lap design, and also offer notched flat panel tanks as dictated by the application. Our Parsons, Kansas, facility carries the only API 12B license in North America and keeps this unique certification by passing yearly Q1 audits of performance. We also manufacture to American Waste Water Association (AWWA), National Science Foundation (NSF), the FDA and other demanding standards.
CTT’s design team works with you to meet your tank manufacturing need s. We use AutoCAD ® technology enhanced with proprietary visual basic technology to improve speed and accuracy of our drawings. Our PEs provide full structural calculations and foundation loads, and stamp them with their seals for the United States and Canada. We have developed designs that account for wind, seismic and snow loads. We also offer foundation designs and fabricated structural steel.
