Columbian TecTank (CTT) has designed and manufactured thousands of different welded tank configurations over the years in our ISO 9001 quality-certified dedicated facility. We manufacture steel tanks to customer specifications as well as independent quality standards defined by the National Science Foundation (NSF), American Waste Water Association (AWWA), Baking Industry Standards Committee (BISC), FDA and USDA.

We can manufacture silos and steel tanks up to 15’ diameter and over 100’ in length. In addition to working with carbon steel and stainless steel, we also work other materials including aluminum and other alloys as specified. We can also install custom components in the tank as required by your unique specifications, delivering tank systems ready for quick installation and commissioning.

The construction materials we use to manufacture steel tanks have been tested and certified. Some tank manufacturers use materials of unknown origin or use “commercial quality” steel which does not necessarily provide the most strength or meet the highest safety standards. The steel should be tested for its composition. Poor-quality steel may produce a less expensive tank but it runs the risk of splitting or collapsing. CTT only uses the highest quality steel to ensure you have the safest and longest-lasting steel tanks.

A key characteristic of the CTT’s welded tanks is our proprietary coating system. Our Trico-Bond EP factory applied baked-on coating has proven its ability to promote flow and withstand varying liquids and dry bulk materials year after year with minimal maintenance. Our unique coating has performed in the field for more than 50 years and in hundreds of different applications.
