Columbian TecTank tanks and silos are coated in an advanced, environmentally-controlled process at our ISO certified plants. This ensures the highest quality application, best adhesion and longest coating life available today. Our proprietary coating process starts with surface preparation, cleaning, electrostatic powder or liquid coating and then a final thermal curing at baking temperatures up to 400 degrees.

Bolted Tanks:

• Trico Bond EP™, our proprietary epoxy powder coating for interior surfaces, provides the best corrosion resistance and immersion performance, as well as outstanding flow, impact and abrasion resistant properties
• Our coating system meets FDA and USDA standards for dry bulk applications and conforms to NSF 61 for potable water.
• Our exterior coating system includes Trico-Bond EP™ Primer for corrosions resistance with a Performance Urethane topcoat for long lasting color retention

Factory Welded Silos & Tanks:

• We offer a wide range of different interior coating options depending on the material and applications specifics.
• The exterior of the thank is coated with Copoxy Primer and Performance Urethane or our unique System 3™ which is a premium coating process of a zinc-rich base, then epoxy intermediate and finally a performance urethane finish topcoat that provides the maximum color retention and corrosion resistance.
